ANYWHERE out of this state is an improvement. I like Texas, wife doesn't. She wants to just get rid of everything once the kids are out, buy a mobile home (diesel pusher...) and just travel. Everywhere and nowhere will be home. Fly under the radar, move our accounts off-shore, don't file taxes anymore and tell the government to go to hell.
I'm 51. Not counting selling my home, I have enough to live until I'm 85 on $45k/yr without working anymore. It's getting more and more tempting by the day to just say "screw it" and go completely Galt.
