On Fox News Sunday with Chris Wallace yesterday (full video here), the Associated Press’s Julie Pace twice demonstrated why hanging the “Administration’s Press” moniker on the self-described “essential global news network” is more than justified. My previous post (at BizzyBlog; at NewsBusters) dealt with Pace´s blind acceptance of unsupported assertions about the reason for the Obama administration´s delay of 2015 Obamacare enrollment until November 15, 2014 and her willingness to parrot long-discredited talking points about why the HealthCare.gov website initially crashed. Before that, she bragged about how her organization, which didn´t exactly have a track record of sitting on news about

What the reporters don’t appear to know about Freedom lacking people:
http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/3073182/posts

“I do believe that there is a basis for a resolution [because] Iran’s Supreme Leader has issued a fatwa against the development of nuclear weapons,” Obama told reporters.

Supreme Leader of Iran
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Supreme_Leader_of_Iran

The leader is more powerful than the President of Iran and appoints the heads of many powerful posts in the military, the civil government, and the judiciary.

The constitution of Iran combines concepts of both democracy and theocracy, theocracy in the form of Khomeini’s concept of vilayat-e faqih (guardianship of the jurist), as expressed in Islamic Republic. According to Khomeini, guardianship by Islamic jurists was not restricted to orphans or mental incompetents, but applied to everyone in absence of the twelfth Imam. Jurists were the only rightful political/governmental leaders because “God had commanded Islamic government” and “no one knew religion better than the ulama” (Islamic clergy).[13] They alone would preserve “Islamic order” and keep everyone from deviating from “the just path of Islam”.[14]

As the constitution of the Islamic Republic states, it

intends to establish an ideal and model society on the basis of Islamic norms. ... the Constitution provides the necessary basis for ensuring the continuation of the Revolution at home and abroad. In particular, in the development of international relations, the Constitution will strive with other Islamic and popular movements to prepare the way for the formation of a single world community (in accordance with the Koranic verse `This your community is a single community, and I am your Lord, so worship Me` [21:92]), and to assure the continuation of the struggle for the liberation of all deprived and oppressed peoples in the world.[15]

What an incesteous relationship.

I don't remember other Presidents having so many off-the-record meetings w/ the press to get them on message.

These ‘journalists’ abandoned their professional ethics and credibility LONG ago!

Now, they’re just Hollywood wannabe’s.

What else could you call them?

For ‘journalists’, access and the need to ‘belong’ trumps everything else. They have to know the ‘secrets’ and be able to drop the proper hints at the various social gatherings. Remember the CNN bureau chief in Iraq who ungrudgingly admitted to covering up all of what Saddam Hussein was doing in order to remain and keep pumping out Hussein’s propaganda?

Maxim in valuing journalist ethics, make no assumptions and look at their record.

That bimbo really set me off the wrong way Sunday. What’s with Fox bringing these people on the Panel? I don’t mind the “liberal” as much as I mind the “box of rocks.”
