These are the same Russians who supported the Assad Syrian regime, which also had the support of Iran. Does anyone really think that Russia and China will do anything that helps the US and the West?
Who are opposed by the Syrian rebels who are dominated by al-Qaeda. We don't have any perfect choices in that part of the world, but Assad and his team looks pretty good compared to the alternative.
Makes you wonder what leverage they’re using to entice Iran or how they really got them to the table.... as no doubt we won’t be informed what the real deal is. I have zero confidence Iran is interested in anything more than continuing their agenda for Nuclear...and this with Russia’s control currently, until they have it all in place as they choose. Syria and Iran have been hand in glove for eons....and Russia with them. It’s a triangle not easily moved.
Might be the Syrian situation has been the determining factor as Russia took the lead .....and likely with Iran agreeing. Russia won’t move without taking the ME countries with it for a time...they need each other currently.
Even so China’s simmering behind the scenes and will make their move one day in the future. ...just a matter of time.
But no...you are right that China nor Russia will do anything that helps the West...rather their intent is like Obamas...to weaken us. We have stood in their way for years, so with Obama at the helm they can manipulate him easily and do.
