Now that the Big Lie has been exposed for everyone to see, its going to take some time for it to sufficiently sink in. I imagine most low-information voters who dont follow politics regularly -- the obvious exception being people whove already been negatively impacted by the Affordable Care Act -- arent too familiar with the presidents now-broken if you like your health care plan, you can keep your health care plan pledge. That will all change soon enough.
Now, of course, when Americans head to the grocery store -- or perhaps to their local pharmacy -- this cover will be staring them blankly in the face as they wait in the check-out line. Oof:
ICYMI, @nancygibbs and @katepickert have compelling stories in this week's Obamacare issue http://t.co/sC95wXCb8M pic.twitter.com/ItU49PpowV TIME.com (@TIME) November 21, 2013
Don’t worry.... The punk POTUS’ lackeys will strong arm a puff piece in the next issue.
Is Time even in print version now? Will this be in the supermarkets?
With a readership in the dozens, TIME will surely impact the national debate.
“POTUS lackeys” will be dispatched to buy up all 17 copies of the mag.
With a readership in the dozens, TIME will surely impact the national debate.
That’s right.
As when the journalists (including the NYT) found out the executive branch was reading their e-mails and tapping their computers. There was a lot of sputtering and umbrage.
But then they put their demo-kneepads back on and started-up their fellaciations again.
They’re like abused spouses.
TIME is not on the newsstands in my area.
I have a thought for countering the government mime about the Republican war on women, though. One of the new government guidelines for women is that pap smears will be done only every other years. Even those women who have had one irregular pap smear, have HPV and have been told that it is imperative that they have a pap smear annually, are limited to every other year.
“What it means for this presidency”
In other words they still don’t care what it means for our country.
Have You Seen the New Time Magazine Cover?
Put it on the front of Cosmo and it might get seen.
Obama is taking firm steps to change the situation.
The first step is to forbid anyone from calling it “ObamaCare”.
Don’t get your hopes up. Time is not going to abandon the man they helped elect. They will treat this as a ‘glitch’.
Besides, they know 0bama is toast, and they will soon be crowing “first woman president” with pictures of fat-hip chipmunk cheeks.
[I don’t normally resort to personal attacks, but Time made a reference to an elephant with a picture of Chris Christie on the cover. What’s sauce for the goose, is sauce for the gander.”
They really are “the most transparent administration in history”. Their incompetence and graft is obvious for all who wish to see it..
That many?
Everyone here should realize the meme is going to be
“The private marketplace has failed” and that “The only solution is a government monopoly”
“Dont get your hopes up. Time is not going to abandon the man they helped elect. They will treat this as a glitch. Besides, they know 0bama is toast, and they will soon be crowing first woman president with pictures of fat-hip chipmunk cheeks.”
You’re right; they’ll pretend to be honest until it is time to campaign for the next Bolshevik candidate. The late-night shots at Obama are part of the same orchestrated theater as they try to reign in the trust of the masses of Americans who rightly regard them as stooges of the left. There is nothing they are saying now that they couldn’t have said a year ago (including why ObamaCare’s funding formula would fail).
might be worth printing it and posting it around town.
BUT, but, in the subtext they *did* ask the question of how it would affect our Healthcare — they’re concerned “journalists” ...
