Like people? I prefer the dog, as it is far less dangerous, less conniving, and less annoying than the average person. I like individual people; but, being a long-time reader of history, I’ve come to the conclusion that people in general usually fail to make the grade.
If one wants perfect love and trust, go to an animal shelter. Because you will usually seek for it in vain from other primates.
