A major GOP donor who told Breitbart News Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell made disparaging remarks about the Tea Party movement and about Sens. Ted Cruz (R-TX) and Mike Lee (R-UT) continues to stand by his original story after claims that the reports were not accurate.
This individual reported that on the Oct. 30 fundraising call American Crossroads Karl Rove and Steven J. Law held with McConnell, McConnell specifically talked about Mike Lee by name, specifically talked about Ted Cruz by name, and he specifically talked about the Tea Party by name, the donor told Breitbart News in response to a story Roves and McConnells teams have purported shows otherwise.
That story, published by Charlie Spiering at The Washington Examiner earlier on Friday, confirms that McConnell criticized conservative groups who supported the plan to defund Obamacare and that he also criticized those conservatives who are now actively working to defeat him in Kentucky. The article adds that McConnell repeatedly mentioned the Senate Conservatives Fund by name.
Spiering, who says he was exclusively provided a 27-minute audio file of the call, reports that McConnell did, as Breitbart News source said, talk about dealing with conservative schoolyard bullies by punching them in the nose. While the article states those specific remarks were made explicitly about the Senate Conservatives Fund, he also reports that on the call Senator McConnell criticized other conservative groups who supported the plan to defund Obamacare. However, the Tea Party is certainly the pre-eminent conservative group that spearheaded, along with Senators Cruz and Lee, the plan to defund Obamacare.
In response to the Washington Examiner's report, Breitbart News source also noted that McConnells comments at the Senate Conservatives Fund were in a broader context of an attack on the movement.

Ditch Mitch.
I will NEVER vote for a candidate that is not recommended by the Tea Party.
No more tears Mitch, just leave please.
The only power we have is the veto power. They don’t believe we’ll use it. And why should they? We never have before.
We take everything they dump on us. Even a punch in the nose.
I pray that a strong conservative wins the primary in KY. I think we can win the seat in the general election easily enough. I don’t live there, but I have a lot of friends there.
I’m praying that a strong conservative wins the primary here in GA for Chambliss’ seat. He is retiring. I’m also prying that Isaakson decides to follow suit in 2016. He is less conservative than Chambliss! Chambliss at least came in at #15 in the top Senate conservatives...but he was failing in that over the years. Apparently he was at one time a very strong one. Sad to see this happen, but ALL the MORE REASON for TERM LIMITS! They get past their expiration date and they can’t seem to help themselves!
Fire the Turtle!
Hate to tell you, but Chambliss is not in the top 15 (check out my weekly posting of rating averages). Don’t go by the ACU, they create ratings that give cover to moderates. And they also have “lifetime ratings” so politicians can use their votes from 20 years ago to give them cover for their votes lately. But you’re right about Isaacson! He’s worse. At least Chambliss will be gone.

Yes, the title of the Breibart article is a little strange in that respect. Get rid of Mitch.
Miss Mitch was given an atomic wedgie by Reid and apparently before her panties could even be pulled off her head she’s crying about the Tea Party.
Good grief.
A lesson he will never learn.
The colorless Mitch McConnell doesn’t have a clue who his, and his country’s, true enemies are. He’s a hindrance in the war for the future of our Republic and needs to be retired.
I’ve shifted my loyalties from the GOP to the American Conservative Party. This is all about the Constitution and fiscal responsibility. F the RINOs.
Sent McConnell an e-mail identifying myself as a TEA Partier. Included my home address and invited him to stop by any time and try to punch me in the nose.
Waiting.
If you are not a 70 year old woman in a wheel chair he wouldn’t dare.
Mitch wants to play the knockout game against the CCW holders. Stupid Mitch.
I wish that these "Republicans" would clarify their concerns and criticisms about conservative groups.
Exactly what is it that they disagree with? Is is that conservatives are God fearing? ...that they believe in fiscal responsibility? ...that they believe in the sanctity of life? ...that they know that men and women are different? ...that they believe in common sense? ...that they believe that laws should be read and digested before passage? ...that they were elected to do a job?
What is it exactly about conservatives that is bad?
Even if mcconnell wins the primary he has burnt his bridge to winning the general.
