ST. LOUIS PARK, Minn. (AP) -- A car veered off a rain-slicked highway ramp in suburban Minneapolis early Thursday, landing in a nearby holding pond and trapping five children underwater for up to 45 minutes until a tow truck could pull it out, authorities said.

"The driver of the car, a 23-year-old woman, made it out on her own as the car sank. She was in stable condition."
That sounds like the **** opened the window thereby letting in a gush of water to save her damned self while sacrificing all those babies to a freezing watery grave.
The **** probably had a bunch of children so that she could get more free money from the govmint.
Oh, dear God. I’m 23 with five children. I’d have NEVER left the car without them if this happened to us, I’d sooner die.
Texting?
The article said they didn’t know the relationship of the children to the driver. Icy cold water means the kids have a fair chance at survival. Getting children out of seatbelts in an emergency is the flip side of the coin :(
These stories break my heart, as a father I agree with you, I’d die before I let my kids die.

I feel sick. I take that exact route to drive home every night.
:(
Three were hers, two were here boyfriends. Several have died. I live a few miles from where it happened and go that way all the time. Her friends don’t know why she would ever be in that location at that time of day. It’s a good distance from where she lives.
You’re 23 and have 5 children? Bless you, MeganC!! We need more conservatives...glad you’re assisting the cause!!
Tragic...it does make you wonder what the rest of the story is. Prayers up for all. I cannot even imagine.
Perhaps Mom was tired of being a Mom. It would not be the first time it has happened.
Thank you! I was married at 18 and really just wanted one (that was the idea in my head back then) and my first pregnancy was twins. After that my husband was pretty insistent on a large family and I’ve been blessed by his leadership in that regard. We’re homeschooling and it’s our fervent hope that they all grow up as Christians, conservatives, and Americans.
two have died already: http://www.twincities.com/localnews/ci_24569770/st-louis-park-vehicle-goes-off-ramp-into
You must be something special!
God bless you and yours!
If this woman didn’t drown trying to save all those children, she should be in prison for negligent homicide. Either, Or, and no in between.
We need more large families. I wanted 12... Anyway, stick with the homeschooling if you can. Absolutely no regrets here.
Blessings to you and your family!
And may God bless you and your family over the coming Holy days!
