Mayor-elect Bill de Blasio hasn’t named any key figures in his administration yet — but he’s got plenty of new advisers.
On Wednesday, de Blasio announced a transition committee that includes a staggering 60 members — a number of whom were prominent campaign donors and supporters. The list includes “Sex and the City” actress Cynthia Nixon; former Clinton White House Deputy Chief of Staff Harold Ickes; Bertha Lewis of the old ACORN grass-roots organization; and Rabbi Sharon Kleinbaum, partner of American Federation of Teachers President Randi Weingarten.
“It is a group of people who share a progressive vision for the future of the city, who are known in their fields of endeavor as being effective and strong leaders, and who share a clear commitment to diversity in leadership for the future of the city,” said de Blasio, who announced the committee at a transition-ideas center in lower Manhattan.

Christine Marinoni met her partner in 2001 while attending a rally in support of same-sex marriages. Cynthia was actually married and pregnant at the time so the two first became friends before they started to date.
Christine gave birth to the couple’s only child (so far) together in 2011, a son named Max Ellington Nixon-Marinoni who was born February 7th, 2011 so he just celebrated his first birthday. They are keeping secret the name of the biological father of Max, but it is someone known to both of them so we hope that someday the secret will be revealed to their fans.
They had kept the pregnancy low key until the end when a baby photo was released after the birth. “Maybe I’m just lucky, but I feel like Christine is so amazing with our kids — because they’re our kids. I feel like falling in love with her is part of being amazed at how she makes our family so much better.”
Marinoni has a reputation as a community stalwart in Brooklyn’s lesbian heaven, Park Slope - and residents of “Dyke Slope”
In her youth, Marinoni was a homecoming queen back in her native Seattle.

Cynthia calls this thing her husband one minute and her wife the next. The thing had a baby with donated sperm from a man who is secret to the public.
Cynthia was married to man and had two children by him before she discovered she was a lesbian, then she discovered or she claimed that she is bisexual.
Who the hell knows, especially the children, who they are?

I never thought I would see the day that ‘Weiner’ would have been the better candidate. Boy, they must be young in NYC because they don’t remember what it was like in the ‘70s. I remember driving through there with my father and seeing cars abandoned on the freeway and boarded up buildings and it was shocking only topped by my father’s mistake in Philly the same year and we ended up in the North end’s brick block buildings. I’ve never seen anything like that.
They’re in for a treat.
