A mutiny has erupted among photographers who cover President Obama over what they say is the White House’s increasing practice of excluding them from events involving the president and then releasing its own photos or video.
On Thursday, the White House Correspondents’ Association and 37 news organizations submitted a letter to the press secretary, Jay Carney, protesting what photographers said amounted to the establishment of the White House’s own Soviet-style news service, which gets privileged access to Mr. Obama at the expense of journalists who cover the president.
“As surely as if they were placing a hand over a journalist’s camera lens,” the three-page letter said, “officials in this administration are blocking the public from having an independent view of important functions of the executive branch of government.”

Speaking of photographs, a fried of ours was able to get into a White House tour last year, and was commenting on how the walls up and down the corridors are lined with pictures of Obama. He said it was really, really creepy.
Too many pics of the Clown with flies on his face floating around the internet.

In my training, Govt cannot copyright. It’s products are owned by the people.
US Post Office is a different animal (they copyright stamps).
But I forget, the king owns all, even the images you have in your mind.
The difference is that bands are private enterprises and have considerable control over their brand and how they market themselves. Mr. Obama is a public servant, serving in an elective position accountable to the American people. His problem is that he doesn’t think that we have any right to hold him accountable.
We already know that the press is not into investigating Democrats as it is.
What, was he perturbed about some photographer releasing a picture of him smoking a cigarette after he'd lied (and the press lied along with him) about him giving up tobacco during the 2008 election?

Obama doesn’t see himself as a public servant. How long after he leaves the White House do you think it is going to take him to have $100million in the bank? He will hit it before 2030.
Here’s an idea. Stop printing anything about him. The WH will be like the stars of Hollywood. They’ve got to stay in the press less they be forgotten.
