Men have souls and are made in the image and likeness of God.
That used to be a universally held truth in the Western world. But once the leftists and modernists eradicated that belief, the powerful could literally get away with murder (holocaust, abortion, etc.)
If you are correct we ARE different.
If not? We may still be different and of our own volition. If so we are the only creature, on this globe, who has risen to a place where we can understand our own existence and can and are learning how the universe works.
I could not nor would not remove a supreme being from the equation as denial of God's existance is as unprovable as those who insist it his existance is provable.
