I had a nephew that was attacked by 5-6 ethnics in Cambridge Mass a year back, the boy was an accountant, came out of an eatery after Celtics game; barely seen them coming, didn't even get a good look at their faces; except that they were blk. They beat his head off the cobblestones and he was in hospital for a few weeks with a double skull fracture. He came up caribou hunting last fall and I told him it will never happen again in his life, don't let the anger eat him up. I was shot at by ethnics many years back, watching those orange flashes from 15 yards, bullets wizzin by, me unarmed. I've been armed ever since, just waiting to pay Trayvon back, but that doesn't really do you any good. We don't live within 200 miles of any ethnics here in Alaska, no crime anyway; so I'll never get to relive that experience with a different outcome, kind of crazy.

From what I see, those knockout guys don't confront a person, they run up from behind. Wait until some White guy has a gun out and kills a few of them; they you'll hear about it for sure. Also, my nephew said in many places back east, pistols are illegal, nobody has a 1911 on their belt. That's hard to even fathom in Alaska?

Some states do, some don't. Majority of states east of the Mississippi have concealed carry. NY & north not so much except VT, without looking.

They're predators. They look for the weak and unprepared. They like to have 3 to 1 superiority and they're confident the vic is unarmed.

Actually, the usual MO is to casually approach on the sidewalk as if just walking the other direction, then swing without warning.

IOW, it's a surprise attack and the only way to prevent it by armed action is to shoot before the attack starts, which would be considered utterly unjustified in every state in the country. Or be fast enough to dodge the swing, draw and fire. Which is I suppose possible.

The most likely outcome of this story is that some white person will shoot a black guy he/she thinks is planning such an attack. Possibly accurately, maybe not.

It will be claimed the black guy was utterly innocent, and it might even be true. Mass moaning and wailing over "walking while black" will follow.
