So why do all the stamps this year have "USA Forever" with "Forever" crossed-out?

I was waiting to see if anyone else noticed that before I posed that very same question.

Nothing nefarious about it. Post office always crosses out the amount in pictures to prevent people cutting them out and using them as postage.

Forever is the amount now instead of 25 cents, etc., so it gets crossed out.
