I fully agree.
The GOP in both chambers should walk out and demand the reversal of this rule change before they come back.
No funding the government, no quorum, no nothing until this rule is reversed.

The ones the dems break over and over, and the same ones they hold us to. Time to play nasty.
That is an interesting idea, but sadly such a strategy is moot when the rulers no longer follow the rule of law, precedent or tradition.
We're not dealing with simple cronies and corrupt career-minded politicians where such a plan would have merit, we're dealing with Marxist Revolutionaries installing a Fascist utopia. They are REMAKING society - not manipulating it to get ahead.
If the GOP walked out - Obama would say that this is proof that the Republicans are not interested in governing, and he would (with Pelosi,Reid and the media's help) - IGNORE all the rules concerning quorums, funding and so on. He would impose single party rule by Executive Order and by actions in both houses from the Democrat leadership to secure their permanent seats of power. The dictatorship would then be legitimized. All in the name of "ensuring the continuity of government" of which Obama has literally hundreds of 'secret' E.O.s already signed with God-knows what in them.
It's not playing by two sets of rules at all. The reality is that the rules are arbitrary and they can and will be changed to suit the Ruling Class and MarxoFascists in power as they see fit. We have already witnessed this.
There is NO FIXING THIS BY CIVIL MEANS. PERIOD.
Get that through your heads.
You CANNOT be reasonable with the unreasonable, and we're dealing with people who DO NOT share the same respect for principles and ideals that the rest of us do. You cannot co-exist alongside such ideologues anymore than sin is content to exist alongside Righteousness. One will subjugate the other. That's simple fact.
Obama himself said "if they bring a knife, you bring a gun". History reached THE ONLY THING that will affect such tyrannical rulers and their hold on power is both the threat and use of force.
However, without the willpower to actually enforce the law and the Constitution, we might as well march ourselves to the camps now for all it is going to be worth in the end.
