That’s why...when I hear people in my town complain about train whistles going through....I just laugh at them. Then kindly remind them what exactly they are pulling behind them and that I don’t mind those warning whistles at all. They shut up pretty quick. I live 1/4 a mile from the main RRX-ing and see what they pull every day.
yep, I use to work for Union Pacific in Omaha before having kids. Both in the EAP department with all the engineers, brakemen etc being counseled for drugs and alcohol addictions . . .then in the law department. Not for the faint of heart.
