UPDATED: George Zimmerman's girlfriend, Samantha Scheibe, has refused to appear on camera until she gets a paid national interview, WKMG-Channel 6 reported Wednesday night.

WKMG's Erik Sandoval broke the story of Scheibe's personal details about her relationship with Zimmerman in a report at 11 p.m. Tuesday.

In a world in which the police were not out to get George, the mother and daughter would be separately interviewed and a record made of their attempts to sell the media a story.

As part of the interviews the police would determine whether and when the daughter informed the mother that George had choked her a week ago.

I think these women are lying. If such liars are allowed to prosper there will be no one safe from such accusations. There will be just a limited opportunity to expose the lying. I'm betting that "law enforcement" will deliberately let this opportunity pass.

I have seen multiple cases of mothers encouraging daughters to do this stuff. They were both contacting a reporter for 3 weeks. Stinks to high heaven. I do not believe for one second that he pointed a gun at this woman.

GZ turned the victory of his acquittal into defeat by acting like a fool. Some people are tired of defending him now that he’s proven himself to be a goofball.

What worries me is that Zimmerman currently has a public defender as a lawyer. Public defenders are known for not being nearly as good as private ones. Will he switch to a private one in the near future?

I made a comment to Uncle Chip the day this happened that I thought it was strange the media did not break in and interrupt the regular programming for this or even the police news conference. They all knew a lot more about this woman than we realize!
