It’s a civil right to steal money from the taxpayers

As long as you’re a foreign national in the country illegally, of course

Seems to me we have a win/win situation here. The illegals get to feel good marching and the immigration guys don’t have to look too hard to round them up and send them home. It’s like shooting fish in a barrel. How much more easy can they make it....

The problem is, they're as likely to walk 150 miles as I am to fly that far.

If they had that kind of determination and energy, they'd be at work.

It would seem like the ideal situation and it would be but for the turkey in the WH saying hands off.

Many BP and INS agents are fed up that they can’t do the job they were hired for.

I don’t get it.
Why should illegal aliens have to pay tuition at all?
Can’t they just sneak into school?

Good opportunity for the ICE truck to round up a bunch of illegal invaders.

The ICE man cometh!

I wonder if Christie is prepared to do the same for undocumented New Jersyans who happen to come from Maryland, or Texas or Ohio. Some enterprising young attorney needs to represent an out-of-state student who has registered to vote in NJ. That student should sue for in-state tuition based upon their residency status as a NJ voter.

all that free time to play the gimmedat games...

It's far beyond that.

Illegal aliens feel unafraid to threaten the Speaker of the U.S. House of Representatives?

That's what they're doing.

Thirty years ago they would not have dared to PO the local PD, much less the leader of the House.

I don't just see this as a New Jersey issue. Most Higher Education Systems receive Federal money, and money is fungible. So Christie may be signing away some of your money, no matter where you live.

As far as POTUS, this is a definite deal-breaker. How typical of the GOP-e types to urinate on the voters they think they have in the bag to pander to the next group they crave. They have been doing this to Conservatives for decades, now. Now the rest of the the party can BOHICA.

Quit going back like an abused spouse. Either take the place over or leave.

My short term fears are that the NJ GOP legislature members will puss out. They need to do the right thing and get as many nay votes as possible.

Like in Mass. they are in the minority but they can push good bills like giving preference to veterans over illegals in housing.

Could Christie Veto it and they have enough votes to override? They got 25-12 in the senate, that should be just enough.

it will also be financial aid, meaning grants from the taxpayers that won’t be going to a US citizen who will also be charged more for tuition

this country is committing suicide
