Guilty or not, George should get back in touch with his Catholic faith, start going to his local church, get involved with it’s singles/young adults group, get involved with a good Catholic woman with proper Catholic values, and try to live under the cross for the test of his life. BTW I’m a somewhat lapsed Protestant.
If he’s a good Catholic and his marriage was a church marriage, he should not be getting involved with another woman, Catholic or not. I don’t know if his divorce is final or not but if he was married in the church he would need an annulment to get married again.
