George Zimmerman posts bond, is released from jail

George Zimmerman posted bond and was released from jail in Sanford, Fla., at 4:30 p.m. Tuesday.

Zimmerman had been held on charges of aggravated assault, battery, domestic violence and criminal mischief related to an altercation with his girlfriend, Samantha Scheibe, on Monday.

On Tuesday afternoon, a judge set a $9,000 bond for Zimmerman and directed that he have no contact with his alleged victim, not leave the state of Fla., and not possess any firearms or ammunition as he awaits an arraignment on domestic violence charges.

Dressed in a gray jumpsuit, Zimmerman appeared in a Sanford, Fla. courtroom the day after being arrested for allegedly pointing a shotgun at his girlfriend during an altercation in her Apopka, Fla., home. He is charged with aggravated assault, battery, domestic violence and criminal mischief

He must wear an electronic monitoring bracelet until his arraignment on Jan. 7, 2014.

I'm thinking not intentionally set up.

But I'm thinking that he is an easy target and everyone knows it. Including anyone he has a lover's quarrel with.

One of the stories about this incident was that the girl friend was threatening to call the police before Zimmerman pointed the gun at her. It sounds to me like she was threatening to file a false report and Zimmerman threatened her in response, stupidly giving her a legitimate report to file.

I don’t know what’s in the papers but he now has to hire a divorce attorney to help him maneuver his way through divorce court or sign the papers which I’m sure are not in his favor — and I doubt that being $2.5 million in debt that he has the money for a divorce attorney or for life insurance premiums.

No, don't feel that way. GZ continues to need our sympathy and support. He was unjustly imprisoned for many months. It is very very difficult for a person who has been incarcerated for such a length of time to make the transition back to normal life. Initiative, self discipline, and good judgment are lacking; an explosive temper is the norm, even to the point of goading others to the point of uncontrollable rage. His behavior should be judged harshly at this point. He needs time. He is lost right now and it will take time for him to find his bearings again. It is not surprising his wife could not deal with him, probably only his mother can, and even she may well be driven to the point of wanting to wring his neck. I hope his mother and father will take him in, if they are still alive; he needs them badly.

Probably not too difficult. He doesn't have much pressure on him. The POTUS spoke out against him. The U.S. AG investigated him and in spite of no findings against him from the DoJ the AG says he will continue to investigate him. U.S. Congressmen have spoken against him in the well of the House. Rick Santorum publically denounced him as crazy. The FL governor assigned a special prosecutor to bring charges against him. The special prosecutor did. The MSM has lied about and demonized him for nearly two years. Spike Lee tweeted his parent's address for psychos to find them. The NBPP issued dead or alive wanted posters on him. Not one LEA, prosecutor or politician in the country condemned that giving the impression that his assassination has been officially sanctioned. He's a quarter million dollars in debt.

He'll be fine. He should sail through life.

I meant to say his behavior should NOT be judged harshly. Also, I wanted to add, if he can find really good emotional support from this point, and keep out of jail, he will right himself in a few years, and be the person he used to be, except of course a little older and wiser.
