Unless it is against the rules what's wrong with having a perpetual thread?

Why do we have to be notified everyday?

I've seen old threads with thousands of replies.. and hey! Every time Savage goes memorex we can post a reply to the first comment of that day and forget about it.

How many years would it take to get a thousand replies?

Another advantage to having a perpetual thread is with shows like today’s (lousy IMO) we can just reference a criticism from previous days and quickly post “Ditto” and move on to better things to do.

Seriously why can't we just continue this thread? Maybe post a new one each year.. if after the last couple of shows are any indication, we even need to worry about another thread next year.

Savage is rationalizing being nudged into a self-imposed "fairness doctrine;"

and those callers that agree with Savage that talking about politics and issues of national concerns cause people to turn off the radio.. those calls all originated in the 202 area code.. about 1600 Pennsylvania Ave. I believe.
