One thing you won’t see in articles covering his arrest: the Congressman is a former TV news anchor. Funny how that little fact is omitted. After all, journalists, past and present, don’t have drug problems.
Here’s a paragraph from the USA Today story: “Radel is a former radio host, TV reporter and newspaper owner who was swept into office with Tea Party support. He was born and raised in Cincinnati, where his family owned a funeral home company.”
The liberal mainstream media is mentioning it because it ties Radel to conservative talk radio.
