The White House is "as sorry as we can be" that a Washington state woman held up as an example of the success of the Affordable Care Act marketplaces appears to be falling through the cracks, press secretary Jay Carney said Tuesday.
In mid-October, President Obama cited single mother Jessica Sanford as an exchange success story after she wrote to him after being able to sign up for insurance in early October. She's since learned that her state's system miscalculated her tax credit and that her out-of-pocket costs will be substantially higher than expected.

Even weirder-—I heard the dumbass chick being interviewed and in spite of the double screwover she doesn’t blame the Kenyan at all. Now she blames the state. Pretty much like the old starving Russians who just couldn’t believe it was Stalin starving them. Absolutely fascinating. How hard do you have to hit these dim/kenyan lovers behind the knees before the light comes on? Most of them will hold the nails while their coffin lid is being nailed shut.
Carney said that the White House “certainly as sorry as we can be that Jessica can’t afford it” but that the law is still doing plenty of good. He also noted that Sanford still says she supports the Affordable Care Act and the president.
If she still supports this she’s an idiot and is getting what she deserves.

Still a little ignorant on the 3000+page law here, but our cost of health insurance is based on how much tax we pay???
