"Please donate food items so associates in need can enjoy Thanksgiving dinner," reads a sign accompanied by several plastic bins.

I thought they were working on Thanksgiving?

But we still need to FLOOD the country with low skilled illegal immigrants so that no one anywhere can ever get a decent living wage.

I smell a big union rat behind this story. Not saying it didn’t happen; but someone is pushing it and taking it out of perspective.
Another word for that is propaganda.

Hmmmm, maybe they COULD enjoy Thanksgiving dinner if the executive scum in charge of the company weren't forcing them to WORK on Thanksgiving, in a never-ending one-ups-manship contest between greedy retailers.

Black Friday is no more. It's now Black Thanksgiving, and all WalMart's employees and many others in the retail industry are suffering for it so "shoppers" can get their cheap flat screen TVs and trample each other a day early.

What a concept....People helping each other, without the government getting involved.....Can’t have that, now can we?

Regarding that Swanson frozen dinner, I got a kick out of the "mostly white meat" declaration on the packaging. As if that's a good thing! I happen to be a dark meat person. Thighs and legs and wings. Breast meat makes me thirsty.

Anyway, I had a mess of frozen turkey "TV" dinners growing up. The only thing I didn't like about them was the square carrot cubes. That always sort of grossed me out.

As my Late Mother used to tell me, “there is always someone better off than you and there is always someone worse off than you, that's life”.

Why does this upset people? When I was making very little money, the Company I worked for had a United Way Drive every year. I always contributed something. It was my choice, not an occasion to whine about my Salary at the time. You would think Walmart was pulling a Godfather, either your canned goods are on that table or your brains will be.

How silly, Evil Walmart is asking the Employees they Pay to help out a Charity. I guess people forgot that it was Walmart that had Trucks full of Supplies in LA and MS right after Katrina. Their Logistics capability is second to none.
