Even if it true, so what? People are free not to vote. People are free to think both candidates are not worth their vote. Believe me, they weren’t.

The point is that a lie is being proliferated about the numbers and it just is not so. I wish to take the opportunity to correct that mistake when I see it on FR because it makes us look stupid every time someone spouts the same tired lie about the true numbers in the 2012 election.

There are several sources you could choose to verify with if you care to do the relatively small amount of research required to see for yourself.

Finally, I believe wholeheartedly that choosing not to vote is equally as valid of a choice as chosing to vote. People just have to understand if they choose not to decide; that while they have still made a choice, it is not one that exerted any of their rights given ability to direct their fate WRT elected leadership.

It is debatable as to how much control over our own fate we really have when voting, but at the heart of the matter that is the one opportunity a given person has to bend fate to their will outside open revolution.
