I remember reading that even Zero wanted to take small steps with HC reform. It was Pelosi that wanted to go for it all. I’m surprised he hasn’t thrown her under the bus
Actually for Obama, this is a “small step”. As he said, “the problem” with getting a ‘single payer” is that most Americans liked what they had. First they had to separate Americans from getting health insurance through work, then they could get them to accept socialized medicine.
Mission accomplished. The complete transformation of America is well underway. Obama has three more years, and flexibility. Who cares what people think?
