Hi Greg! If it was failed contract negotiations and they were holding out for more money-which they deserve!- then maybe this will get resolved. Especially when the replacement show loses listeners! But if there was a more nefarious reason....grrrrr.
Yeah, I was surprised as hell on the morning drive in. Two guys blabbering about yesterday’s Steeler’s game. You can get that on what seems like a dozen or more other radio stations around here.
I don’t know if this has anything to do with it but Mark Levin seemed worried about this a few weeks back...

I thought it was a guest host when I tuned in this a.m.; PGH’s collective IQ about the goings on in DC and politics in general is going to take a nose dive.
Time for someone like Beck to start up a radio free America station and broadcast it from offshore.

I’ve been a faithful listener of Quinn & Rose since I moved to Western Pennsylvania from Arizona in 1995. I attended several of their “Thursday Night Think Tanks” years ago and we spoke off-air on the phone a few times shortly after 9/11. I’ve told hundreds of like-minded people around the country that theirs was the best conservative talk show on the air anywhere. It was comforting to know that there was a direct, honest answer to people like Bill Maher, Keith Olbermann, Bob Beckel, Wolf Blitzer and the legion of idiots on MSNBC, NBC, CBS, CNN, etc. who spout their hateful rhetoric every day. Moreover, I went out of my way to patronize the businesses that advertised on their show - and I live 70 miles away.
Rest assured that I will no longer support WPGB or Clear Channel in any way whatsoever. I wished WPGB good luck (sarcastically) with the “open-minded” (his words yesterday morning, not mine) “Bloomdaddy” (their replacement), whoever the hell that is. More mindless “I don’t really have an opinion” sports, celebrity, variety morning talk for the sheeple...
BTW, the emails for Clear Channel are first and last name (no space) @clearchannel.com. Jill Manti (jillmanti@clearchannel.com) is their Marketing Director. I’ll be contacting every single one of Clear Channel’s advertisers that I can identify and informing them that I really don’t care for their products any more.
