Startin’ to get buck fever. Went down to southeastern Iowa with some friends yesterday and marked some ambush spots overlooking some promising valleys.

Local guy helping us saw 21 deer that morning.

Got the slug gun scope checked. 100-yard lanes were full so had to use a 50-yard. About 2” high at 50 yards. I had it zeroed at 100 yards last year so I figured I'm good. Didn't change anything.

Finally got the scope on my son's AK zeroed in.

Life is good.

Try using a 30" barrel in a duck blind. I use a 24" and rarely miss.

Took my grandkids shooting a few weeks ago. Most of my guns were too big for them, so I wen't and bought a Chiappa Little Badger, folding break-open single shot.. 32" long and 3.5lbs. I also bought a little Ruger Bearcat single action revolver. I took a pic of these two guns with some full sized guns for perspective. Crappy photo, but representative.
