In Texas, Germania (HQ in Brenham) will cover all your guns and gear with just their home owners policy.
Good company to deal with too.

How do you know if it’s a round butt? My S&W 360 PD looks like a square btt.

Thank you for that tip brother.
I will look at that.
NRA Support from where you’d least expect it.

You bet, a couple of my friends and I have bought insurance from Germania for years now. They are also much better policies in other ways too.
They still don’t have them for Kimber grips; just the LaserGuard package for the rail. I went for the reds for 2 5” Kimber 1911 models I have, but should have waited for the Green LaserGrips to come into full poduction. They said it’d June-July 2014 until they had them widely-commercially available. My reserved set of CTC ‘green laser beta grips’ was sold by one of the FFL’s (newly-hired sales-putz ) I work PT for. PMO’d!
I did get 2 Viridian X5L-RS units - one for an AR-15 and one for the Beowulf .50cal - and the green laser is good to 150yds in bright sunlight. The red laser isn’t visible 5ft.

Howdy, Y’all! I missed the start of the gun talk. Been busy on facebook entertaining a friend that is very sick. It’s really helping him and his wife to have some online talk and banter. I try to keep the levity up in those threads!
Something to look forward to, when you get back home.
My ins agent said that firearms and jewelry are the 2 most frequently stolen items, so they get “premiumed”. My condo homeowner’s policy would increase from $284/yr ($250k contents) to $21,600/yr, based upon my inventory, ammo and massive safe. An expensive security/fire suppression system was hugely cheaper.
The NRA offers a policy to members, and I’m going to check into it.
Hallo hallo!
I missed the beginning of the thread as well since I was on the horn,
100%. Great technique but requires some special equipment.
Here’s tonite’s podcasts from earlier today.

Cool - thanks. Need to work out the “podcast” thing though.
Thanks so much! I always thought my butt was round. HA!
So green lasers for a J-Frame cost $369? That’s a bit pricey dontcha think?
God Bless You Brother.
Thank you Brother.
Wendy Piper?
They’re pricey for sure.
But putting a good set of night sights or a tactical light on a snubby is pretty much impossible.
Looks like Jesse James the motorcycle guy is starting his own line of firearms.
3500 bucks for a 1911. HA HA
