Uh huh... I really need maternity coverage, etc. (/ sarc)

My healthy family of 4 have gotten my insurance thru my employer. This year, our premium went up 42.6% and the deductible doubled to $6K/year AND had a 20% copay. Our average expenditure for ALL health-related care is less than $3K over the last 10 years.

Nope.

We are going without “health insurance”. I have a maxed out FSA and I’m buying everything AFLAC offers for LESS than what my new employer-sponsored “healthcare insurance” would cost.

I’ve also reduced my federal withholding to $0. Fvck Obamacare AND the fines! They can only fine you if you get a refund - and I won’t.

Actually, the fine can come out of the refund, OR, if you happen to owe the IRS at any time for the same tax year as a result of underpayment, etc., the fine will be commingled and the entire amount will be due. Explained here earlier by a CPA type.
