House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi said Sunday the grandfathering clause in the Affordable Care Act only applied to people who had plans in 2010, before President Barack Obama signed the law.
“If you had your plan before the enactment of the law in 2010, there is nothing in the law” that can remove it,” the California Democrat said on NBC's "Meet the Press." “You could (keep your plan), if you had your plan before the enactment of the law in 2010. Grandfathering is for those before” 2010.”
Pelosi, a chief architect of the law in the House, said Obama was correct to take responsibility for the troubled Obamacare rollout, but insisted there's nothing that needs to be fixed about the law.
“He is gracious and he is taking responsibility, but that doesn’t mean that there was anything in the law that said if you like what you had before 2010 you couldn’t keep it,

The law says that any changes made to your plan after ACA was signed makes the plan ineligible for grandfathering. Then the law mandated changes to all plans to meet the ACA requirements. If Piglosi doesn’t understand what that means no one would be surprised. I am sick of these serial liars. Bad news is that leftist voters are so uninformed that the truth doesn’t matter. Who’s on dancing with the stars?
And, did the Meet the Press panel ask her any obvious follow up questions, or was she just allowed to regurgitate talking points and get away with that as an interview????

ummmmm...let’s see....I had a perfectly good plan in 2010 and as soon as the law passed, that plan was discontinued and a new one put in place that was 70% higher in premium and a higher deductible. This was an individual policy. My agent said they were bound by state law to not say that it was because of Obamacare.
Pelosi and her comrades are liars and thiefs.
If you plan has not changed one bit since 2010 then maybe you can keep it except in states that required insurers selling through the exchanges to cancel all their policies. Like in CA or Washington DC.
I watched Pelosi for as long as I could stand it on Meet the Mess this morning. She is having age and linguistic issues. She had trouble presently a coherent thought without sounding and looking befuddled. She is definitely on the downhill slide of aging.
I’m picturing myself right now with my hands around her scrawny neck, squeezing the life out of her.
