The final sentence is, "Mankind is being opposed by a powerful force which threatens its very existence and at the same time paralyzes its most reliable tool---reason" The blatant and unceasing lies of this Obama administration torture reason on any level and seem to paralyze all logic and common sense of a large part of the US population and too many of their elected leaders.
