Agree, Sister Pat :-)

I’ve refrained from saying this for some time, as I didn’t want to sound catty, like a fashion expert and/or minimize the abomination of her, Obummer and/or Obummercare, but who on earth picks Sebelius’ clothes?? I’m not a fashionista but she wears some of the worst outfits (next to Moochelle Ma Belle and Hilary!) I’ve ever seen. I expect that they are expensive and she may even have a stylist.

OK - off this sideline on to more important topics like Obama’s lies (does he want fries with those - LOL!), our continually crumbling economy, NSA, Benghazi, IRS Scandals, Obummercare, etc., etc.

Go Seahawks!! (apologies to any Vikings fans)

Well I’m a Ravens fan and go on....they win the Super Bowl last year then go on to trade all the good players on the team.

We do have Jacoby and he’s a really great dancer so there’s that.

Heh. I like the Sister Pat name and go on, everybody in my surround now calls me that and, again, I right like it.

Understand that a lot of my humor was in the costume itself. It was just perfect....I dunno, I order it online, simple thing, size 14, fit me great....and cheap....$20.

I didn’t accept reimbursement from the church cause I want to keep the costume...Halloween and such.

Or....heh....

Coming in dark and silent February in these parts we have a volunteer dinner. Just like it sounds....volunteers get a free meal, get to dance.

I’m thinking they need a Sister Pat come cheer them up, make them smile till the snow birds come home.

What you think?

Please talk me out of this. All I can say is that I DO consider myself a humorous person but this does not a standup comedian make.

But when I came out of that bathroom dressed as a nun with a three foot ruler in my hand, I became Sister Pat and I was great. They were screaming in the aisles, yes they were. I walked around in my costume, asking people if this was the Talent Show and where do I do my act?

I was so in my element and even then I wasn’t even yet on stage. My daughter taped it but we don’t know how to get it off her new cell phone. It’s posted on Facebook but I can’t link to it if you’re not on Facebook. Or something.

It’s no mind....just use your imagination. I had only two jokes to tell and like I said upthread, I was scared to death all week. I’d never done such a thing before and bear in mind they had close to 200 people there. Tickets sold out and we went to for five bucks you could sit in the back but no food.

Heh.

I watched my video and the timing was perfect. Yeah, I practiced, but not all that much. I felt so in my element, here I am 63 and full of myself.

In the end I said, to a mostly Catholic audience:

“Us Catholics don’t mind laughing at ourselves (-I’d just finished two hilarious Catholic joke-). Always remember, no matter what you think of the Catholic church, this church feeds six million people every day. The church does not ask ‘Are you Catholic?’. ‘The church asks ‘Are you hungry?’ .”

So much to ponder can be inserted while people are laughing.

It’s my story and I’m sticking to it.
