To: what's up

regardless of what you say the church is simply not prepared to take care of 20 million or more people. And ha ha. you don’t say,one has to work the land. Again ha ha. Just where is this open land for the taking? People were encouraged to settle. Is that the case now? Maybe a few thousand could find spots and basically live under the radar AFTER building a shelter that not very many could build on their own.

I never said they would take care of 20 million; because you will never take care of everybody no matter what kind of system you have.

What I did say is that the Gov't has stolen the role of helping the unfortunate from the church. The church in general would do a much better job because they are closer to the people in need at the grassroots and can better judge what those needs are. Gov't largess takes money which would ordinarily be directed at providing charity and creating jobs and directs it toward dependency, not real help.
