And all ethanol plants make drinkable alcohol.

Drinkable is not the same as being a food-grade process system of cleanliness and purity.

There is more to ethanol used for human consumption than not being denatured.

Drove a couple of loads of corn to the ethanol plant for a friend last year. Farmers get rid of corn that they would not be able to sell for food by selling it for alcohol. I never saw so many dead rats, coon crap, and dead bugs in a load.

Vodka.

Actually, production ethanol goes through molecular sieves to get to fuel grade. There’s no alcohol purer than that.

Most ethanol for human consumption leaves certain “contaminants” in or adds them to help cover the taste of the pure alcohol.
