The tattered race-card is once again deployed because Americans are criticizing their President and he happens to be black. This time it was waved around by Oprah Winfrey while in the UK shilling for her new film:
Oprah Winfrey has been a prominent supporter of Barack Obama. She thinks that both he and the Office of President have been treated with contempt because of the colour of his skin.
“There’s a level of disrespect for the office that occurs. And that occurs in some cases and maybe even many cases because he’s African American. There’s no question about that and it’s the kind of thing nobody ever says but everybody’s thinking it.”
“Everybody” … got that? ”Everybody” is thinking it.
No one could be basing their conclusion about him on the apparent fact that he’s an incompetent who happens to be black. No one could be thinking that his political agenda defines him and they oppose it. No one could possibly be opposed to him because his actions have directly effected their lives in a negative way (see ObamaCare), could they?
No all “everybody” ever thinks about is how black he is and how badly they hate him for that (never mind the cognitive dissonance that must exist in order to ignore his election and re-election and reach this conclusion).
This is what normally happens when one personally invests in a politician and has to find a way to excuse their miserable failure. Winfrey put a lot of personal capital on the line for Obama and essentially understands he’s failing but refuses to see the real reasons for why that’s happening. Instead she turns to the old and dependable habit of crying “race"

If that was true, oprey, why is it that so many Americans loved YOU enough to make you one of the wealthiest women in the world? Notice I didn’t say BLACK woman. Because I don’t give a damn what color you are. Now answer the question.

It’s funny she should bring this up. I happen to know a few people who are very bigoted about African Americans, but none of them hate Obama because he is black.
On the contrary, they state quite unequivocably that he isn’t black, but half white and Indonesian, and what they really hate about him is his homosexual leaning, bastard thinking (juvenile without a father in his life), given everything on a silver spoon from the public dole, and lies to avoid accountability, actually giving African Americans a bad name.
In a nutshell, they hate him for how he thinks, and in general they don’t think of him as being black.
Why can’t real African Americans see this?
