Albuquerque is a spiritually weird place.
The presences around that town are just strange. I think they may have caused my elderly aunt, who lived there, to go mad. She had a weird Alzheimer’s like condition, but it only fogged her up when she was in the presence of family. When with her neighbor, who was a snotty grasping woman, she was fairly clear.
Your poor aunt! That had to be tough to see.
I agree about Albuquerque. It is the only place we’ve lived that is so unique, for want of a better word.
