The House easily passed Republican legislation on Friday allowing insurers to keep offering old insurance plans for another year in response to President Barack Obamas broken if you like it, you can keep it promise.

Not bad quips, but let’s keep to what matters most to God, first. Next to faith itself, it would be human health. (Hey that even rhymes.)
Bridenstein is an Okie and is my Representative.
This is a mistake that gives cover to 39 Dems in the 2014 election. And going “against” Obama’s wishes makes them look even better.
how stupid can the GOP get!!!!
again they insist on bailing out Obama
IF, and that’s a big IF
EVERY EXISTING POLICY IN EFFECT 1/1/2013
SHOULD HAVE BEEN “GRANDFATHERED” PERIOD, NO LIMIT
AND
ALL SUCH POLICIES SHOULD BE OPEN TO NEW ENROLLEES AS WELL, INCLUDING PEOPLE WHO MIGHT BE GETTING A NEW POLICY
ALL THE GOP IIS DOING NOW
IS GIVING THE STNKIN LAW AS IS MORE TIME
IT FIXES NOTHING, CHANGES NOTHING ABOUT WHAT’S WRONG WITH THE LAW - IT’S STINKIN MANDATES
261 - 157
Will ObamaCARE be saved by the GOP, at last?
261 - 157
If even Democrats are getting the point... let’s watch and wait and pray. This might be a moment of truth for them.
The Senate will do much worse than “blow this off”. They will gut the bill, and substitute the language that Senator Landrieu of Louisiana has circulating (which does NONE of the things called for in the Upton bill), and bounce it back to the House, where, famously, it will not be read as re-written, and passed on an overwhelming margin, and The Current Occupant will sign the bill, making it the “law of the land”, but entirely toothless, and leaving the insurance companies and the now uninsured out there twisting in the wind.
And it will be both the insurance companies’ and the Republicans’ fault.
Once again, the snooker factor strikes.
I’d liken this to good ole rednecks shooting down a dead tree with a machine gun. In pieces.

Completely agree !!
The contents of the Upton bill will be removed. Maybe landrieu’s bill will be substituted. At any rate, it will not be the same bill if harry reid allows a vote.
You all don’t get it do you?
If it must happen it must happen. The Democrats are getting visibly dirtier hands.
Let’s keep our eyes on the larger goal. Health care is the catalyst here, like slavery was the catalyst in the Civil War. It didn’t actually get taken care of for good until late in the conflict.
This points out the illegality of Obama’s action. And when Obama vetos it, or Reid won’t pass it, then DEMS get all the blame.
No, not the stupid party.
The Uniparty.
The gop has gotta cover their democrat partners.
Thank you.
The Cowardly Lion of the GOP is beginning to wake up and show a claw, and you’re busy bashing him over the head?
I thought the Republicans should have just laid low, promising to consider any legislative changes the Democrats or President Obama proposed, basically calling Obama’s bluff about not enforcing even more of his signature piece of legislation. If Obama actually vetoes this, or if the Senate Democrats block it, it’s even better!
ObamaCare: Crap on rye.
Landrieu has not standing on this issue. Republicans need to fight to exclude any language offered by her. She is part of the reason we are in this situation.
