the ATL promised to develop the area if the braves would build stadium there. Period. LOL never happened.
I am glad they’ll be moving for the reason the city lied. I’ll also be glad not to be scared to go to a game. I’ll be glad to have a restaurant to eat in, a bar to drink in, and a road to walk on unaccosted.
ATL really does suck mostly.
I always wondered why on TV the attendance seemed so skimpy when their team is generally pretty good.
For similar reasons I never went to a game at Tiger Stadium while living in Michigan. I just would not park my car down there.
