Americans told President Obama in 2012, "If you like your popularity, you can keep it."

We lied.

Well, at least we didn't tell him the whole truth. What we meant to say was that Obama could keep the support of a majority of Americans unless he broke our trust. Throughout his first term, even as his job-approval rating cycled up and down, one thing remained constant: Polls showed that most Americans trusted Obama.

As they say in Washington, that is no longer operable.

Forget the not-particularly-intelligent "hook" to this article - "Why We Lied to Obama" - and notice instead that this is a "mainstream" journalist, Ron Fornier, who worked at the AP for 20 years:

1) Listing the Obama administrations scandals, and not downplaying them: "The Benghazi attack, the seizure of telephone records from the Associated Press, the IRS's investigations of political groups, the National Security Agency's massive domestic-spying operation, the "red line" in Syria, and now Obamacare..."

2) Accusing the Obama administration of "outright deception."

There's some obligatory (and in part false) Bush-bashing - necessary window-dressing - but it's still startling to see some parts of the MSM now starting to tip-toe toward the truth about Obama & his crew.

Nothing against homosexuals, but it’s odd that the Dems keep nominating homosexuals as their candidates. This could mark the first time in history that America has elected two homosexuals as presidents. And they say America is homophobic?

It's all part of the subversion of what was once a moral society. There are many homosexuals who are not activist advocates of warping society, but the worst of the worst gravitate to the ranks of power in the Dim Party. Intimidation of the moral is the tactic of the day and began with the whole hate-crime/PC culture that they managed to cultivate with the constant lies of trying to bolster morality. Obama isn't the first liar among their ranks - just the first who has enough interference being run for him that he never really has to take a step back. I find it most worrisome that they have become so open and belligerent - they must have a sense that they have won enough that there's nothing left to stop them.
