I have a friend in that business. he tells me the best Turkey you can get is a frozen bird, as they are flash frozen minutes after slaughterer, and are really more fresh than a unfrozen bird,

Truethat; they are flash-frozens right after slaughter/cleaning/rinsing etc.

As a Farmer for 22yrs, I’ve found that there’s no comparison between frozen, or even just-cooled meat, and fresh-slaughtered and cooked. That’s being at the top of the food chain.
