peaker John Boehner has halted further talks on the Senate’s immigration package, and has stated that he has “no intention” of going to conference with the Gang of Eight to debate it further. That means amnesty’s not going anywhere in this Congress.
NBC News recently reported:
House Speaker John Boehner says he will not allow any House-passed immigration legislation to be blended with the Senate’s sweeping reform bill, further quashing the chances of comprehensive immigration reform legislation being signed into law anytime soon.
“We have no intention of ever going to conference on the Senate bill,” Boehner told reporters Wednesday.

Although amnesty is not off the table in terms of further talks, both formal and informal, House Speaker John Boehner is now on record saying he has no desire to discuss the matter with the Senate. Which means that as far as this Congress is concerned, an amnesty deal is all but dead this year.
Looks like the Republicans might be serious about winning the 2014 elections after all. And the Obama lame duck just got a little lamer.

Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhh! Now the precious Hispanic vote is really, really going to hate the GOP. Instead of 70% of them voting for Democrats, it is going to be 71%.
Good. We can breath a little bit for now.
However, this issue is not dead. Like all other social and legislative priorities for liberals, they will bring this up again and again until it finally passes.
Don’t forget the following issues that passed after numerous failed attempts in Congress and/or state legislatures:
1. Health care
2. Abortion
3. Gays in the military
4. Women in combat
5. Destruction of the family
7. Affirmative action
8. Destruction of schools
9. Promotion of Atheism
Still on the agenda:
1. Amnesty for illegals
2. The “BT” portion of LGBT legislation
They will not rest until the two things above occur. If amnesty happens, our country will not survive. That is a mortal threat to our republic. We will become just another Chavez-like banana republic or another Argentina basket-case economy in short order if amnesty is passed.

At least until the media and radical dimocrats start to blast them and talk about moderation and compromise. Boner and crew fall for it every time.
Well we hope so, but what they need to do now is to start working on Obama and his Executive Order.
They need to start voting to nullify his orders already given to Border Patrol and ICE agents to lay off., and other orders stopping deportations.
If not Obama will pass a faux amnesty on his own. It’s stop to snatch Obama’s EO’s to a screeching halt

And this is why Ted Cruz and the Tea Party ARE succeeding despite what the RINOs will tell you. They are pushing the RINOs to the right out of fear that the RINOs will lose their jobs. The Tea Party is setting the agenda because they’ve shown they don’t back down, so their threats are taken seriously.
The Democrats must be overjoyed about Boehner killing the amnesty bill.
After all, didn’t the Dems and the media (same thing, I know) tell everyone that the Republicans would never win another election if they didn’t help pass the amnesty bill?

If this is true they should be passing a repeal of obamacare right now and passing real healthcare reform instead of the phony "if you like your plan you can keep it" garbage. It looks like they intend to be "to clever by half" milking the outrage against obamacare and doing nothing.
What happens if the Pubs don't win big in 2014? If obamacare isn't gone by then no matter how bad it is it may never be. There is a window now!
