Iran has a military. Don’t think that Iran is just some hole out in the desert. The Iranians can do considerable damage and kill a lot of people in the region if they wanted to.
I don't believe any countries imposing the sanctions are "in the region". So again I ask, who are they going to declare war against?
That has no gasoline products to run on if imports are cut off.
