If your family had no food, and you’re armed, how far would you go to feed them?

When our basic needs are threatened, we become just like any other animal. It’s just that some didn’t need starvation to get them to that point.

Agree. I figure it takes about three days without food and then people go primitive or they give up.

In following this event before it became news in the US.... it is striking that the Philippine people did little to open up access for the roads there.....

In Japan when the Tusami hit....they were out there clearing off roads as soon as the waters receded....they understood you cannot get help in without access.....what I have seen in the Philippines is similar to Haiti....the people waiting for someone else to do the work. From the get go access roads needed to be opened...able bodied men and woman, even after several days still continued to wander rather than lift the hand to open the roads.
