Yet Another GOP Official Ditches Lindsey: Endorses Lee Bright
Bright For Senate ^ | 10-10-13 | Staff

Laurens County GOP Chairman Says Graham becoming more and more of a Democrat:

Under normal circumstances, party officials tend to back incumbents. Laurens County GOP Chairman Travis Cash knows that 2014 is not a normal circumstance, and is enthusiastically endorsing Lee Bright for the U.S. Senate.

“This is a man who has consistently voted for constitutional law, and when he says he’ll do something, he does it,” says Cash of Bright. “He’ll continue that going into the US Senate. When you hear (the party establishment) attacking Lee Bright, you know he’s doing the job right.”

This assessment of Bright stands in stark contrast to Graham, who Cash says “has progressively become more of a leftist year after year.” The Laurens chair has many problems with the incumbent, adding that, “he has supported two Supreme Court Justices – Sotomayor and Kagan – that are atrocious. He has supported nearly every debt ceiling increase and every tax increase, and his rating with Heritage and other groups has gone from about 85 to 88 to below 60.”

In summary, “Graham’s becoming more and more of a moderate Democrat. He pushes right along with Obama.”

“This is another great endorsement for our campaign” according to Bright, who said “Travis Cash has a tremendous understanding of the problems we face, and he realizes that Lindsey Graham is no longer part of the solution, and that he has become part of the Obama-Reid-Schumer problem. He knows that I will never support radical justices on the Supreme Court, and will never join with John McCain to thwart the efforts of Ted Cruz, Mike Lee and Rand Paul – who are standing up to the Obama agenda. We are thrilled to have Mr. Cash’s support.”

Cash added that, “I have not seen this much excitement for a new prospect since Tim Scott. The Tea Parties are for Senator Bright.”

I think he has a good shot of forcing him into a runoff and then beating him, Cruz style.

Has Linda Grahmnesty offered any rebuttals lately to the challengers or has he realized he’s a goner?

The sooner he’s gone, the sooner we’ll be on the path to reclaim America.

I am concerned what he’ll as a lameduck between his loss in the primary election and the swearing in of his conservative replacement.

Great endorsement. They keep mounting up for Lee Bright. Laurens County now joins Greenville, Fairfield, Chesterfield and Charleston Counties in ditching Lindsey.

He is suddenly interested in certain formulaic issues…..stuff he’s ignored for five years. And his campaign material all full of typical consultant speak pabluum designed to fool people into thinking he’s a great SC conservative and also, by the way, the only one who can bring home the needed pork for the Charletson Port and a few other things…..

Now, if we could get this to happen in KY, with Matt Bevin. Then, on to Texas...to finish discarding three of the biggest RINO’s up for re-election in 2014.

On KY: I would suggest that Matt Bevin ignore McConnell per se - and just run hard against Obama Schumer Reid - and Mitch by way of them.

This is what Lee is doing….running against Obama Reid Schumer - and LG as their enabler as a Mccain clone.

Agree. Midge, for whatever reason, has some staunch support in KY...beginning with Rand Paul :-(

If Matt runs solidly against Dims/0Care that should be a twofer, ala what Lee Bright is seeing happening, against Midge the Enabler, as well.
