Thank goodness that we got an oil delivery today.
We have geothermal heating/cooling central air unit. It works pretty well.
On a cold, sunny day, the many windows on the south side of the house warm up the south-facing rooms, and that takes some burden off the heater.
When it’s very, very cold, we turn on the fireplace. It’s propane, and it heats the living room nicely.
Also, we bundle up. We have lots of sweat shirts and pants, and they’re very good at keeping us comfortable.
We keep the thermostat at 64° in the winter and 70° in the summer.
Temps will climb toward 60 by week’s end.
