I was not impressed with the show or overall with the performance. However, Senator Cruz did make one comment that completely excuses what I saw as a lackluster performance on his part: he represents Texans, not Americans.

That's true, that's fair, and the desire on my part to see him act as a voice for Americans is not fair. That isn't his job, and I concede that point.
