There were fascinating photos of massive demonstrations to protest homosexual marriage by people of all ethnicities at the Hawaii state capitol last week. Even though Hawaii is one of the most democrat states, voters there have consistently voted down initiatives to legalize same-sex marriage. They resent having this thing rammed down their throats (so to speak). This could get politically interesting.

Unfortunately, marriage redefinition only ratchets one way. Once marriage is redefined into unimaginable forms, it is there to stay, even if Hawaiians elect a 100% conservative government next election.
