I've been working on my Galt for a while now and should be fully out of the splash zone soon enough. I didn't make this mess. I didn't cheer on the ass hats who shoving the patriot act, homeland security, militarizing local police and all of the other in your face police state laws and programs over the past couple of decades. In fact, I was on the other side of all that cheerleading. I tried to warn people that doing those things was foolish. Got a lot of "why do you hate america?" around here for my effort. So you'll have to excuse me for feeling less than zero responsibility to clean up this mess.
And there isn't any "winning" this. The time for winning was over years ago while the GOP base and rank and file were drunk on power and wanted their security state at any cost. At this point, there is only degrees of losing. Don't bother coming back to me in 18 months. I'll be off grid by then.
Re read what I posted. I said they at least waited until the regime was weakened by the war.
Please think twice before you answer.
Since were talking assassinations, I see your Brutus and Cicero and raise an Boothe and an Oswald. How did things work out for them?
Just remember the government has the power to write the rules and do anything it likes. It can tax you, bankrupt you, jail you or kill you. It does not even matter if you are right, they are the government.
Thanks...I forgot that part of it
Because Obama has simply chosen to delay enforcement of the part of Obamacare that applies to employers, but not to individuals, I would think that any individual could mount a successful defense to buying insurance or paying a fine under the individual mandate on the grounds that the law, as applied, is “arbitrary and capricious”, the key legal standard under administrative law. Any lawyers out there agree?
So you say...
Good luck with that Galt path...I suppose you be out of the picture soon...
Just remember...No matter how off the grid you go...You’ll always have nieghbors...
