Republican operatives want to help establishment candidates fend off tea party challenges with a new weapon: unlimited cash.
Consultants and attorneys including the co-founder of the pro-Mitt Romney super PAC are laying the groundwork or have already filed paperwork for dozens of super PACs organized to support individual candidates running next year.

Single-candidate super PACs also is a sign party leaders believe donors are unhappy with the results of big money groups in recent years and are willing to take their checkbooks elsewhere.
Roves Crossroads groups budgeted more than $300 million on a plan to defeat President Barack Obama and flip the Senate to the GOP in 2012 and failed. The perceived stumbles of Crossroads in 2012 led immediately to recriminations within the conservative movement about Roves dominance of the outside money apparatus.

I just commented the following on another thread, it’s applicable here.
“Immigration Reform may not be dead but reince prince is dead to me. First election I voted in was 1964 Republican Primary when I turned 21. My wife or I have never missed a primary or election and have never voted for a democrat for anything. We have been members of Republican organizations and still are, we have given time and money. The RNC and the NRSC are dead to us.”
Perot happened because the Republican nominee was a RINO who went back on his "no new taxes" pledge.
Lousy candidates produce lousy results (Bush I, Bush II, Dole, McCain, Romney). Bush II only won because the Rats also ran lousy candidates (Gore, Kerry).
If the GOP runs another RINO, the same damn thing will happen, 3rd party or not. If the Tea Party folds, you can be absolutely sure another worthless RINO will be nominated who will run like he doesn't care whether he wins or not.
"The GOPe has publicly stated their goal in 2014 is to destroy the TEA Party movement and conservatism. - In their minds, that is the first priority, - fighting Dems a distant second."
Donate to Conservatives only. ... Not one penny to the Republican National Committee. RINOs willingly helped get us in this mess.
I’m in!
I’m getting to the point where the the Establishment GOP is a bigger enemy than the Dems..
“...Conservative Victory Fund Summary (Rove)

Holy crap!! Rove has stooped to becoming a poseur (inserting the words “Conservative Victory” into one of his PACs) in an attempt to FOOL the gullible among the Republican base. We’re not going to be fooled, Karl.
A house divided against itself cannot stand.
