The seventy-fifth anniversary of Kristallnacht has passed without a whimper from our vaunted press.
Where are they now?
Where were they then?
I guess we have to go through this exercise another time as our Fathers did.
Considering how anti-Semitic collectivists and Muzzies are do you really expect them to say much of anything?
If we have to revisit this “exercise” again, the endgame should result in putting “government” in their place, once and for all, IMO.
Especially the media missed an opportunity to blame Kristallnacht on the Tea Party.
Our vaunted corps of scum-sucking Communist bootlickers speaks up on such matters only when Conservatives are in power. The idiotic attempt to equate Conservatism with National SOCIALISM does not suit their evil agenda at this time. Not much of a homeless problem these days, either! /s
just watched a little bit of Tale of Two Cities online.......I feel we live in those kinds of times....
This is truly the thing that surprises me the most. We can look at thousands of years of history and predict where we are going, but the smartest among us, so we are told, the Democrats, are proceeding headlong in the wrong direction. Compare global warming. They call deniers flat Earthers, but it is they who fit this description. The consensus was the Earth was flat, and the universe revolved around us. Those who challenged this assertion met a gruesome fate. And yet here we are, claiming consensus is fact, and whereas no one is being tortured yet, lives are being destroyed for disagreeing. Our government is becoming more and more tyrannical, and history shows how the end comes to tyrants, but here we are. Everything from history a moderately intelligent person should learn from is being repeated. It is somewhat unbelievable we are going down this path, but one thing from history we can prodict is the quality of life for those living under oppressive regimes. We know where this is going, and where it will end, sad we have to go through it again.
We, as a culture have not been in the collective habit of observing and acknowledging this date. It should be talked about. In my private thoughts, I stand with Israel, and always have. Perhaps in a year of two, someone could ask Pope Francis to speak about it next year. I think that he would do it, even though most of Europe does not want to talk about Kristallnacht at all.
Never Remember.
My dad was there. Worst night of his life as the storm troopers came in and ripped his father from their home and threw him into buchenwald. Dad is still alive today but very affected by alzheimers.

Up to that point, the Jews in Germany thought the worst was over.
After the Nuremberg Laws were passed in 1935, there was almost a sense of relief, that at least finally the Jews knew now just where they stood, and at least things wouldn’t get worse...And for sure, there may have even been factions in the Nazi Party that may have felt it was time to lay off the Jews.....But the other faction definitely wanted to ramp things up again, especially since they knew War was fast approaching. They waited for the right time, and it was a classic case of “never letting a crisis go to waste.”
History is for fools and this is what happens in a dumbed down low brow society of idiots. Of course the media will not let history be told. Sad day in this “new” society. Those that forget history will the next to become history.
In all fairness, I did actually see a brief commemoration of this on national TV news; just can’t recall if it was NBC or ABC.
Regards,
Might have been PBS Newshour now that I think of it. But it was out there.
The MSM is the Country’s greatest threat.
The entire Holocaust was glossed over in HS World History classes.
I learned 100x more about the Holocaust on my own after HS than I did in HS
God bless your father, and all those who suffered and died. What horrible memories he must have endured.
I found this article but it is from the Washington Times so that makes sense.
