Looks like there’s an election law showdown about to happen — and it involves House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi and who can use her name.
The conservatives behind the new political action committee called Stop Pelosi PAC launched their campaign against the San Francisco Democrat on Wednesday — despite federal election officials telling them that there was something wrong with their PAC. It uses the name “Pelosi.”

Backer and others say they expect to raise millions for Republicans in key congressional races around the country, with the goal of keeping Pelosi from returning to the speaker’s chair. They even plan some low-dollar campaigning (think e-mail blasts and minimal online activity) in ultra-blue San Francisco, where Pelosi routinely wins two-thirds-plus of the vote. Former Arizona GOP Rep. and radio host J.D. Hayworth signed on Thursday as the group’s chair.

If it was STOPCRUZ PAC, the FEC’s idea of fast tracking would be 5 years from now.
Federal regulatory agencies are now hand picked tools to attack and destroy political opposition.
The FEC stops this PAC and the attacks on free speech will continue to escalate. Anti sedition laws prohibiting criticizing office holders? Not far fetched any more with these Marxists in DC. Seems like I recall someone in congress suggesting just that a couple of years ago.
